Yea and he comes from a real college. The guy is a beastThere was a lot of talk about the Panthers taking a DT in the last draft, so I spent some time looking at the top DT prospects. I kept noticing Alabama OG Chance Warmack, and he was having his way with the top DTs, and pretty much anyone on the field as far as run blocking was concerned. He's also pretty good in pass protection. At the time I thought he was one of the best run blocking OGs I'd seen in a long time, and I raved about him on here. So now I see that he's projected as a mid first rounder on some early mock drafts. I'd love to somehow draft this guy, but it looks like it would be too much of a reach.

He's a great player, but much higher needs in the 1st round. 2nd round I'd be ok with but this guy won't be there.

I am against taking interior lineman in the 1st round. It's the easiest position to 'hit' on.. in later rounds too.

Guys like Larry Allen are definitely worth first round picks.
(for the record, Allen went in the second, but anyone would tell you he was worth a first)

Larry Allen was, imo the best OG to ever play the game. In hindsight, yes he is worth the 1st, but I would not draft one in the 1st for reasons mentioned above. I just feel like they are easier to find in later rounds than any other position.

It's a valid opinion. I can respect that.
Obviously, my feelings about O-Line are well known
