i swear the deadline has changed a half dozen times, but per the interim GM...

Panthers haven't decided whether to elevate WR David Gettis to the 53-man roster. They have until Tuesday, per interim GM Brandon Beane.

barring some ridiculous injury to lafell or smith between now and then, if it hasn't happened by now it ain't gonna happen.

Welp, Lafell isn't going to play this weekend. They need to cut Armanti and give Gettis a shot.

I will never understand why Armanti is still on this team, it's getting pathetic. And yet, you still have some people defending him, while the some of the same people want Cam gone.

What a fuges up and stupid ass hick fanbase we have.

I'd rather see Clausen go first.

I don't see Gettis having any impact if he is activated. Just IR him

Willing to bet he'd have more of an impact than Edwards. He's a waste of a roster spot.

Murphy and Armanti ARE having an impact?...Gettis can't be less impactfull than those two...

Yeah he can. Gettis had bright spots 2 years ago. Murphy showed flashes in 2009 and 2010 and hasn't been impactfull. Gettis maybe a fan favorite, but he really hasn't earned in the love yet.

At least Reed is giving us some tidbits on this potentially impact situation (with our only other legitimate threat at WR being in danger of missing time, and a potential big play threat rejoining the squad to potentially help that loss). Person is a joke.

The CO has articles about how two bad teams squaring off could be a good matchup, about London Fletcher being a defensive iron man, about Meadlock's unique situation, and about trades that didn't happen. Fug yes CO!!!

    • You miss the point. Taylor was here before. We picked him because of what he could do for our wide receivers not because he had some great knowledge no other person had on the staff. Shula and Rivera and Gettleman studied multiple college systems for months before signing Taylor or drafting McCaffrey or Curtis and would have drafted the same whether Taylor was here or not. They liked the way Taylor developed McCaffrey which showed his talent but Stanford's offense wasn't Taylors idea or unique to him. Shula has a connection to Taylor as early as when Shula was at Alabama.  The debate was whether Taylor was chosen to replace Shula because Shula didn't know what to do to run a college offense and if he screwed up Taylor would replace him. And that Taylor was the reason and most influential in getting McCaffrey. I said it wasn't even close to the truth and this plan predated Taylor and was more thorough and we'll thought out. Everything since then just confirms I was right once again like usual.
    • Assholes should've never taken it away in the first place.  Me and a couple buddies had a hookup and were all hyped up and planned out going to it... then the NBA had to get all political and take it out on the city of Charlotte and the fans -- which made no fuging sense.  Seriously doubt we'll even get the chance to go again.
    • 6'6" 255.  He'll definitely have some good mentors with JP, CJ and the rest of the D-Line crew. 255 he'll need to put some weight on don't you think?
