How do you guys feel about the rest of the season?

We are capable of winning all of them. We should win 5-6.
Remember, the only time we were not outcoached was against a team without one.

I agree. However, the stupidity of the coaching staff is bothersome. I am not sure I can trust RR not to punt on second down or blitz the fullback.what if they get things turned around and the light comes on?
not saying it's realistic to expect that, but if there's some way to avoid another "rebuild" i'm all for it.
i'm officially pulling for the rivera staff to pull it together.
i don't care who is coaching the team. i just want wins and i hope that the guy we have figures it out so we don't have to gamble with another coaching staff.

Or roll coverage to the left tackle

With that being said I think there is a slight chance we go on a 8-1 run and can finish 9-7, if we lose to the Redskins however then its time to tank this season like the Titanic for the number 2 overall pick (I say number 2 because the Chiefs seem dead set on the 1st pick and they beat us in strength of schedule tie breakers) and give our new GM/HC a position of strength come April.

amen.
the best thing for this team is to win.
I agree, but only if we go 9-7 or 10-6, if you ask me which would I choose between 7-9/8-8, miss the playoffs or 3-13 and the number 2 overall pick? Im taking number 2 overall pick all day long.

So with your philosophy, we tank the season, and get a low pick. The team still hasn't learned how to win; all they've learned is how to quit.
Next year, you get the 2nd pick, but the team still hasn't learned how to win, so they start off slow once again. By your philosophy, it's time to quit all over again.
All you are doing is perpetuating a culture of losing. No owner, coach, or player would want to be part of that type organization.

A lot of bright spots on the defensive side, now hopefully we get the soft zone bullshit and let our young ones play ball.

wishing for a losing season is just pathetic.
it's just not good for the team.
how many years did the lions have great picks and where are they now? maybe a little better than us, but playoff contenders? lol.
for years they kept on getting early draft picks and it didn't do them any good. cleveland's the same....losers. you know why? because that's their culture.
it's embarrassing to be at the bottom. much worse there than being a perpetual 8-8 team, imo.
we keep this up and we're going to be looking for a new coach every couple years and a new QB in a couple years and we'll end up with some hack like brady quinn or that guy that was a backup as san diego and tennessee for a few years with a wierd name that i can't remember.
if this franchise is going to go forward it has to stop going backward and stop losing.
i love this team too much to wish it would lose more.

i think some would be pissed at this or even just getting a wildcard because that would mean that the coaching staff would still be here after this year and they'd have to get used to a "stoic" (lol) HC that wasn't screaming and foaming at the mouth on the sidelines.Go 10-6, get the wildcard win Super Bowl...next question...
