RG3 could murder a small child and the media would make excuses for him.

I think all the praise is in the context that he is a rookie. In my opinion he played like a rookie and they looked like a young team the majority of the game.

RG3 will be screwed just like Cam if Washington continues to run a gimmic offense next year like the panthers ave run with Cam most of the year. He will also be screwed if they don't get him some decent weapons at WR.....same as cam.

Im pretty sure thats what Cam whispered in his ear...

The media will not attack RG III because he's the anti-Cam. Plus his agent is a media friendly guy. All you need to do is check the list of players in his stable and how the media treats them. Accept for VY, the media wasn't going to reverse their dislike for him simply because Tom Condon took him onboard.

Anyway. congrats on your win. Looking forward to seeing this team play more to win, instead of playing to survive.

I hear you football......but the mcnabb was also the anti Vick but that didn't stop them from riding Mcnabb's ass once he didn't win with trash in Philly. Like I said before I have seen the same poo for years. Whether it is mcnabb, Vick, culpepper, McNair, moon or Cunningham. Yes the media liked some of the ones I listed better than others that I have listed. But in the end the we're dogged out by the media with the same code words from questions of their leadership, their work ethic, how they did press conferences, how they wore their hair, to what they did on the sideline. Same poo different day.......trust they will eventually turn on RG3 ass too.

Bob's time is coming. Every brother at QB goes thru the character/intelligence attacks. If Washington loses or struggles next year like they are this year, you will hear it.

You're right...They did turn on McNabb ever so subtly to help push him into early retirement.

I love those "code words" that are used and quite frequently on Cam and I'm sure will eventually on RG III. But I've always said, if they didn't know there was a built-in audience who enjoy those code words, they wouldn't be pushing them.

I like both RGIII and Cam a lot.

Glad my guy won today but I expect both to have great careers and to have some great games against one another in the future.

I'm a big RG3 fan...I have a feeling he will get hurt bad though...He won't take that kinda beating for more than 2 years max. And he better be prepared for the sh1tstorm once the media turns on him

To respond to the title of the thread, Cam could rescue a small child from a fire and would be accused of attempted murder....that gentlemen is what we call spin

Bayless's entire purpose is to drum up controversy to gain more viewers, and he does a fabulous job at it. Best in the business.

RGIII will have a sophomore slump next year in that college offense also. Probably far worst than Cam this year. RGIII is the most overrated QB this year.

Well said football....if fans or fools as I would call them didn't enjoy the code words and have these views of certain QBs that poo wouldn't work from the media. But the media has a built in fan base with these stereotypes so they go for it every time.
