If yankees followed the South's lead and went and stocked up prior to a hurricane (same prep), maybe they wouldn't be crapping in their apartment hallways and dumpster diving.

I'm sure most people went out and bought stuff beforehand- the media was talking up this storm for a week or two before it hit. Always gonna be some lazy fugs who dont prepare figuring it wont be that bad though

Everyone has somewhere to go to get out of the way of a natural disaster.

This...and a lot of people in the NE probably don't have transportation.

NYC would have a hell of a time with evacuation because such a huge % of their population has no car.

A lot of people there don't even have a license, so they can't even rent a car to get away.
