Yes... I knew as soon as I saw the hit that it would be flagged. But, as mentioned, a push or a powerful hit... as long as the HIT wasn't illegal, it should not have been flagged.

But oh well... it's over, we won... and as a Panthers fan, we should understand that we won't get the benefit of the doubt. So we should let it go.

Was a dumb call by the refs but its what yo expect. They are just trying to keep Bob playing for 16 games. Next year he will be getting rocked like Vick and no one will care.

I noticed this too. It sucks because if Cam were to get rocked there would've been a flag....problem is its hard to decleat 6'5'' 260. You are right the wow factor of the hit shouldn't matter but oh well. Goddamnit I love TD he makes me cry every game

Jack I noticed this as well, and I also agree with the above and other posts that Cam is a huge guy and like Big Ben, it doesn't look as violent when he takes a hit. Not saying it's right, but it is a reality. Complain to the league? I say go for it.

On the plus side, he's probably less prone to injury than smaller guys.

A lot of teams get fugged by the double standards by the refs.

Illegal contact is the biggest one, after the panther game, I usually flip back in forth between games ( I have Sunday Ticket), and it seems some teams get away with more illegal contact then others. There is no consistency from game to game, some teams seem to get the shitty end of the stick more often then others.....

Can't really argue over that one, though. Smitty will push & slap a DB all the way down the field & he always gets a flag if he is blanketed & doesn't catch the ball.

What about the 15 yard penalty where Cam jerked his head back more or less untouched? Would that not balance things out?

RG3 is a league darling right now - refs have his back.

RG was hit a few times in just our game where he looked like he was going to need smelling salts.. The Shannies are sailing him out in some dangerous seas..his frame is just not going to take that.
