Women Huddlers, Is There an Age...

I'm just curious because all through my teenage years and early twenties, I was hit on regularly. Being that I'm faithful to my wife, it was all I had to look forward to as far as attention goes and served as much needed confidence boosts. But, I never have it happen anymore (I'm 28 now) and stopped having it happen around 25 or so. I used to be approached in grocery stores, work, school, etc. As far as I can tell, I don't look much different than I did 3-8 years ago.
Just had my 10 year reunion and was told several times that "I haven't changed much at all."
My friend has a theory that it's because women our age now that still "flirt" or openly approach men are mostly in bars or the club scene.
Again, I'm not interested in that at all or engaging it. I just miss having that feeling of knowing "I still got it," and being able to say, "I'm sorry, I'm married." And to be clear, I've even discussed it with my wife, and I just get the "Women at work always say how handsome you are... And why does it matter?" LOL.
I think another thing at work is, I don't get out of the house as often and I'm currently staying at home with my kids during the day until I start grad school, so I'm just not out to where I can be hit on as often either.
Not to sound shallow, it's just bothered me. And on top of that, when something occasionally happens, I can't even read whether it was a "hit" on me or not. For instance, a girl gave me something for free that I intended to pay for at the drive thru and was making extra eye contact when she was speaking. But, I can't tell anymore...
Serious feedback is appreciated.

Free stuff at drive thru = automatic bj, at least. Always. You missed out.

I guess like a "heat check," lol. I told him no, because I don't ever want to get that close to the line because it opens you up to do something wrong. And he is all about his soon-to-be wife and any girl he was with back then, he wouldn't cheat on them.

Quite flattering.
I stood there after she left looked at my wife and said "See I told you you were lucky....I don't make this crap up"
I got hit.

Do you wear your wedding ring?
and there's different types of flirting....not all flirting is "omg let's fug!!!!'....
I know what you're saying...but I think people flirt until the day they kick it..

I still get hit on..but it's not all "hey girl, is that a keg in your pants" type lines...it's usually a very nice compliment..maybe you just need to pay attention more

Yeah usually, but I don't ever see women even look at it. And sometimes, I just run out to do some errands real quick, so I don't wear it and still nothing...Maybe these women don't flirt with married men

It's just weird. I used to get chased down in the mall and had girls offer to take me out to dinner. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to prop myself up... I always thought I was a nice looking guy but no dreamboat, lol.
But, I'm saying that because I had it happen A LOT where women/girls as a teen would openly flirt with me. I could even tell by how they looked at me if they were looking to flirt. Or when they'd look once in passing and I'd catch them look again - automatic. I don't even get second looks now when I'm out. Either that, or I'm just not as vigilant as I used to be when it comes to that, lol.
It's just kind of slightly, barely, just a little bit depressing.
