3-4
Both in the middle
Problem solved
Then what do you do with CJ and Hardy? Neither are real OLBs.

Makes me feel like an idiot for wanting Fletcher Cox over him.

his expeience, ability to play the different positions, says he'll be a starter as long he's healthy.he's too expensive to just have as a strong side backer or backup

i agree.I'm torn on the subject. I do know as much as I like Beason, I don't want Luke to move from the middle. Kid looks like a pro bowler out there mid way in his rookie year. He deserves to stay.
The rookie has made the mlb spot his own.
Beason will have to start outside.

i think that's about the only way we keep him around.
he's a very valuable commodity and huge in the leadership department. he makes for incredible depth at Mike if needed and could provide for one incredible rotation among the LB corps. i think statistically he's played better on the outside than on the inside and i remember some saying he was better suited for it. i'm not sure about that, but i think it would be a shame to let him or any of the other LBs go.

zod, since you know beason better than anyone here...you think that beason would restructure?
He is a very bright guy and a realist. I think he realizes his worth in the league has dropped after the injuries and he has to earn it over again. I do think he would restructure.

yeah, that would be a tough pill to swallow. the market just wouldn't be good for him elsewhere because of the last couple years. the demand just wouldn't be there to warrant a contract anywhere close to what he has.He is a very bright guy and a realist. I think he realizes his worth in the league has dropped after the injuries and he has to earn it over again. I do think he would restructure.
i hope you're right and that he does. i just hope that the new GM sees value to the team in keeping him around.
