With Manning you're not talking about nerve damage in his shoulder, we're talking about his neck. Peripheral nerves are a part of that, but you're talking about a rather vulnerable area of the central nervous system which could very easily cause catastrophic damage. The cervical spine is important as anything not named heart or brain.

I don't see why TD should win it over Peyton.

A 38 year old after neck injuries has no business playing another snap and Peyton is proving everybody wrong.

Lol...Manning doesnt have just a sore neck. He has had an opeartion called a spinal fusion. Ive had the same operation on my lower back, and the fact that Manning is even playing at all, much less playing great, is absolutely incredible to me. I cant even get out of bed most days without significant pain 3 years after my surgery.

Peyton himself said he called Dallas Clark to workout with him on some high school field in private bc he needed to throw to someone he could trust, primarily because he was throwing it into the dirt as a duck about 10 yards in front of him with almost no pop.

It was nerve damage in his neck and right arm. The human body can overcome a lot. Not saying the media didn't make it a big deal, but I am decently sure for 90% of people it'd have been career ending at 38.

You act like anybody could shred a knee 3 times & return as good as ever. Thomas isn't a spring chicken himself, & plays one of the most physical positions in sports.

Lol at the Birds being undefeated and only 2 of the 16 people are picking them to come out of the NFC. I don't care if they go 16-0 I don't think their best is good enough to make it to the superbowl either.

Amen, I've already had 3 back surgeries with the last being a complete thorasic fusion, 2 rods and 24 nifty, titanium screws for me! But you're right, I'm a year and a half removed from my last procedure and refilled a Percocet rx today.

Has to be Peyton Manning. He has that team looking like one of the best in the NFL right now. It took a few weeks to knock off the rust and form chemistry with his receivers, but Thomas and Decker are looking like pro bowlers with Manning under center. That says it all right there.

But, I love me some TD. He has absolutely made a difference on this defense.

Russell Wilson for Offensive Rookie of the Year! (Beat Rodgers, Brady, and Romo) they might go 12-4 looking at there schedule.

lol..beating Rodgers was a technicality. It should have no impact on anything.....
