Do you guys seriously not see the end of America coming? Divide and conquer? I believe we are divided. You can blame Obama for that. But instead you want to slob on his knob.

There's no debating that we're divided. I don't blame Obama any more than I blame Bush. The real problem is this two party system. Each side is 90 percent comprised of sheep. Only 10 percent can actually explain what their party platform is. I voted in Mt. Washington, Ky. I'd guess that 95 percent of the people in line with me were also voting for Romney. I'd also guess that 95 percent of them couldn't tell you three things that Romney would do to get this country going again. If you went to the black areas of town (Louisville), I guarantee you it was the same in reverse. Each one of those votes counts the same as someone with extensive knowledge of the issues, and that's kind of sad.

Agreed...I hate the two party system.

I have said many times, an ignorant electorate is the two party systems best friend. The 30 second commercial should never have as much influence as it does. When, with a week to go, you have sooo many people who say they are undecided. Did they just land on the earth? Do they have no core values? Do they not read or ever become engaged?

We get what we pay for in this country from Bush to Obama.

I was talking with my wife as we watched his acceptance speech, and both of us could not understand why some people HATE Obama. I am totally cool with opposing his policies, thinking he is a bad president, or whatever.

But the way some people just HATE him, I never understood that. He is a good dude who loves his country. Just like Mitt is, just like McCain is. But I don't hate any of those guys even though I .didn't vote for them or because I disagreed with their visions for America.

I mean, Obama is the Cam Newton of presidential politics. So much undeserved hate on that man.

He's been labeled as a socialist, a muslim, a racist, and more. Combine that with a populace that only listens to soundbites and you get hatred.

Had McCain been elected, we'd be exactly where we are today. The only thing that Obama passed that McCain wouldn't have tackled is the affordable care act.

TARP still would have been passed, the General Motors bailout would have still been passed, we (likely) still would have withdrawn from Iraq or at least would have begun the process, we'd still have high unemployment, and so on.

The national debt would still be at 15-16 trillion because TARP/bailouts removed (because any president would have passed them), virtually all of the debt growth is a product of increased entitlements for medicare and social security, again something that would have been unchanged if McCain had won.

It's all branding and political parties excel at it. Obama is a socialist communist kenyan born muslim liar that doesn't believe in free enterprise and Romney is a out of touch wealthy heartless aristocrat that doesn't care about 47% of the country.

tensor you are right. its basically packaging of ice cream. same contents, just oh so slightly less than 64oz and yet the price has gone UP. so you get less for your money but "feel" like you got something.

It absolutely is. Did I say it wasn't?

My point was really only about budget problems and unemployment, which are largely unaffected by the Affordable Care Act at this point.

The Health Care thing is not a good thing. It hurts as many as it helps.

I dislike Obama just as much as I dislike Bush.

Hate is a strong word, and is probably reserved for those of very little education or intelligence.
