Not that Manning needs more motivation, but he doesn't strike me as the type to forget being belittled by Richardson during last year's discussions during the CBA. I know that Manning is too classy to ever admit it, but I know that this has to be at the back of his mind as he comes to BOA stadium. Some can simply brush Jerry Richardson comments as political posturing, but there was a decidedly condescending tone to Richardson's comments that an intelligent man like Manning would never forget---the kind that would want Manning to stick it to the crotchety old man as Peyton airs it out on Sunday.

whatever. they were extremely tense negotiations and both parties were posturing and spreading misinformation.

yea like they need this extra motivation. It's unfortunate that Fox and Manning want to win this game. It would have been a certain victory if they did not want to.

lol i could see josh norman running up to peyton after a pick and ask him, "do you need help reading a defense, old man?"This is the perfect thing to say to Manning if we get him on the ground..

At the same time it hasn't been forgotten completely and I'm sure all the Denver players know that Fox wants this.
Fortunately we probably have the best momentum we have had all season and OUR players know how much it would mean to beat Fox.

i think many are forgetting this, ignoring it, or just don't think it matters.I can see both ways. I'm sure Peyton knows that JR is well respected by his players and I doubt he took much insult as I am sure many things were said during the negotiations.

these guys are more motivated than they've been in a long time, though.
it means more to the panthers than it does to the broncos and i could care less about fox anymore other than he's the enemy now and i want him to go down...same with peyton. i want him eating grass and begging for mercy.

Us against the world. The no respect card is usually played out but that's because it is usually the best way to motivate players. Nobody on the outside is giving the panthers a chance to beat the broncos..but they also don't really watch our games either.i think many are forgetting this, ignoring it, or just don't think it matters.
