they got tired of him and his message got old.Didn't our players like Fox?
there were a few who were happy to see him go, smitty being among them.
he was a likeable guy from what i've heard, but frustrating because of how reluctant to change he was.
more than a couple players joked about "it is what it is" after he was gone.

Manning vs Cam
Fox vs Rivera
Manning vs JR
Fox vs JR
Defensive Line vs Manning
Manning vs DBs
Past vs Future
Chud vs Chud
One team struggling to remain relevant, the other trying to secure a playoff slot
It is what it is...
Both teams have plenty of reasons to be pumped up and ready to go Sunday.
Could be the best game we have seen in years.

You think Manning has that at the back of his mind this week? How about: "What do you know about player safety?"
Not that Manning needs more motivation, but he doesn't strike me as the type to forget being belittled by Richardson during last year's discussions during the CBA. I know that Manning is too classy to ever admit it, but I know that this has to be at the back of his mind as he comes to BOA stadium. Some can simply brush Jerry Richardson comments as political posturing, but there was a decidedly condescending tone to Richardson's comments that an intelligent man like Manning would never forget---the kind that would want Manning to stick it to the crotchety old man as Peyton airs it out on Sunday.
I had forgot all about that but yes you can bet Manning hasn't.

it almost sounds like people are looking for reasons for the broncos to beat the panthers and even want the panthers to get beat.
That's preposterous! Just recognizing all the subplots. Who on here but popcornypopper wants the Panthers to get beat?
A victory over the Broncos would go a long way for Rivera, Cam, our D-line, and our defensive backfield to start gaining the respect that we have let slip through the cracks like the victories that we should have had this year over the Bears, Cowboys and Falcons. It is a game about real legitimacy---not just moral victories.

pretty much this. Why would he give two shits about that?
it's petty and drama queen worthy.
everyone needs their subplots and whatnot.

I imagine many of them did, but many were also ready for a change.Didn't our players like Fox?
