I can't believe I am going to share this....I got this personally from someone that is very high up at Chick Fil A....
The recipe im about to give you top secret-- i really dont tell everybody this but I trust YOU
THINGS TO BUY:
Boneless Chicken Breast
Claussen Pickles chips (THIS BRAND ONLY-NO SUBS)
House of Autry Chicken breader(THIS BRAND ONLY NO SUBS-- OUTSIDE BOX OR BAG IS RED.
I HOPE YOU HAVE A DEEP FRYER-- its Very important to have this.
First buy some boneless skinless chicken breast
Marinate them in clauseen pickle juice for 1 hour(DISCARD JUICE AFTER MARINATE)
Then dip your chicken into All Purpose Flour then into an egg wash( 2 eggs with 2 tablespoons water mixed together) and the Back into the House of Autry chicken breader.
THIS METHOD IS CALLED--- DRY/WET/DRY ---
Deep fry on 350 F until the crust turns golden brown MAYBE LIKE 4-5 MINUTES OR LESS --remove from fryer and then bake in oven on a cookie sheet or casserole dish at 350 F until the internal temp reaches 160 F
After you have removed it from the oven let it rest for 5-8 minutes -- Next put on hamburger bun that has been TOASTED-- I find it works best in a nonstick pan on the stove top with just a little bit of butter--just lightly toasted. Next put mayo on both sides of bun with lettuce and 1 slice of tomato and 1 claussen pickle chip. EAT !!!
I hope this works out for you-- you got any questions let me know--- Im sure you are wondering why go from the fryer to the oven-- the reason is its more likely to burn in the fryer and baking is more of a delicate process and you probably wont burn it that way-- this is the way i do it !! ENJOY
