So since this affair is "out" now, what's to stop him from just being like "uh they blackmailed me." He has no vested interest in protecting Obama, especially since he's unemployed now and will be at Haliburton by Monday.
Your theory doesn't hold water.

lighten up on the obsession cheese a bit for your party.
so let's ask this question. what if in the bengazhi hearings neither Hillary or Petraeus are called into the hearings? how would you FEEL then?
seems the fbi knew for some time about this. everything will not see the light of day so you are fine.

never had a hunch? or a gut instinct about anything? are you so infantile you have to wait to be told what to think? or understand?

If you read my posts from earlier in this thread, it's already been announced that Petraeus won't testify now that he's stepped down and a stand-in has already been lined up.

"A republican had an affair? Sounds fishy, I bet Obama Benghazi."
Yet the person who wants some manner of evidence (besides your hunch) to believe your assertion is the non-objective party-obsessed one.

A sex scandal also claimed the careers of those ss agents a couple months back. Americans eat sex scandals up (see Monica L.) and very little explanation is needed afterward.
Much better for a guy of that stature than a dishonorable discharge or charges. Both parties save face. It happens.
