In today's NFL, franchise QBs aren't allowed to leave unless there are some huge extenuating circumstances - Peyton Manning.

How long do you think these QBs will be with their current teams:

Roethlisberger
Eli
Brees
Rivers
Stanford
Brady
Griffin
Luck

Cam will be here until he retires, or until he can't be an effective QB in the NFL.

Cam will either put up big numbers and win championships (or be close to it) and be given the biggest QB contract ever in a couple years or he will slide into a VY-like state and he'll be gone and we'll be happy about it.

QB's that leave the franchises that draft them is usually because the franchise wants them gone, not because they wanted to leave. Look at Manning, Montana, Cutler, Vick, etc.

Just hoping he becomes synonymous with our logo, our stadium, our city, our town, Sundays in the fall and Holiday weekends for the next decade or so. I'd sign up for 10 years right now and not look back. I am going to say he will be here a total of 8, meaning 6 after this year is through. It will be interesting to see what the new "long term contract" looks like for QB's after rookie deals expire.
