there are about 208 million eligible voters and 150 mil or so are registered. off the top of my head the popular vote was what like 40 mil to 37?

wow. so like close to 80 mil did NOT vote? that seems like a ton of no shows.

Yet only 50% of Obama is white. There's a 5% overlap here that needs investigated.

Not 59% of the total white vote, but 88% of ROMNEY's vote total was white.

Point being, this thread is about a different figure than that graph you just posted.

Better question is what difference does it make......we need to unite, not go into division. It helps no one

OK, who made the graph in the Ops first post, how about that?
Just trying to learn the methodology for the numbers.

I am groing tired of hearing how bad things will be. Sitting in the airport the other day I heard more gloom and doom about where we are headed to than I have ever heard at any time in my life. Wouldn't the more appropriate thing to do is to apply pressure (no matter what your party affiliation is) to the elected officials to come to a solution that will resolve some of these problems rather than hold onto outdated (based on the results of the election) bias that has led to nothing other than hard feelings. I think we have a chance here to do something historic, put party aside and focus on the prosperity of Americans. The only way it will happen though is to let this trivial poo go.

very true sag. grass roots is the only way to get anything done unless you have a 100 mil buring a hole in your pocket.

im going to basically use Nov 2013 as my main barometer for what the future really holds. by then i will know all i need to know.
