[Daddy Uncle]

I don't follow basketball as much as I used to, but I do watch the games that air. My uninformed opinion is this:

1. Love the youth and energy
2. Solid core to build around
3. Still think the front office is a problem
4. Hope to se them evolve into a contender, I just don't trust the staff to get it done
5. Glad the effort and style is far more watchable
6. I still miss Gerald Wallace

The front office is probably the best it has been in team history. Cho is a great GM and MJ has turned all personnel decisions over to him. The only problem I see is Rod Higgens. He has done an alright job but if it wasn't for him we wouldn't be stuck with Cory Higgens. That guy should not be in the NBA. I know every team has crappy players at the end of the bench but as long as Rod is here there is no way the Bobcats will trade or release Cory. Should never let front office guys put their kids on the team. Needs to be a policy. Unless the kid is a superstar

I guess I'm cautiously optimistic, but still a little skeptical until I see the team make some actual progress.

Exactly, Higgins is the only problem in the FO. Gah I can't stand knowing Cory is on the team and the reason why. This isn't high school anymore where the coaches' son always secure a spot on the team.

This team is ONE Big Man away from being a +500 team.

I like Shabazz a fugton, but unless he develops a stroke he and MKG will cancel each other out since their offensive games are on par with each other.

Are there any Ray Allen or Reggie Miller juniors coming in the next draft?

Drafting out of the top 10 could mean we continue to build toward mediocrity, which is why Jordan blew up the team
in the first place.

Exactly. Winning is fun but really it shouldn't be this year for our own good for the future.

We need to add another major young talented player in the draft next year. We need a Top4 pick.

Bulls get our pick if we don't finish bottom 12 this year - and it wouldn't shock me right now if we didn't. Looks like we won't get the Pistons' pick until 2014 or 2015. Blazers' pick won't be for a while.

Bobcats look good so far this year. I like the way we're playing. I'm not sure we're a playoff team yet, I think we need another guy. But Kidd-Gilchrist along with Kemba are nice young players to build around.

I will admit that I was not sold on the MKG pick. I thought his limited offense was too much of a liability to take him. He still has a long way to go on his shot.....but damn that kid has a non-stop motor and hustles to no end. His energy and passion for the game is contagious.

There is just a different vibe on this team. They still need a couple of pieces, but they are playing their asses off.
