Have a really specific NFL question for a football league I'm in: when applying the NFL tiebreaker, specifically strength of victory, how are a team's ties factored in? The specific wording on the strength of victory is "teams that the team in question has beaten". Does this mean that the tie games should be ignored and the only games that should be factored in are the victories, or should the tie games be factored in as well, or should only half of the record of the tie games be counted? My head is spinning.

If I had to guess it wouldn't be included in SOV, and if it were it would be a wash most of the time given the rarities of ties in the NFL. That being said, nice timing on this.
