I dont get these type of comments.

Coaching is coaching.

X's and O's

Motivating Players

Managing Staff & Players

No thanks to any average NFL coaches.

I want proven winners and innovators.

Unless we can get a super bowl winning coach that is competitive and in the hunt every year.

Good luck getting that.

We need an offensive passing / qb genius if we want to get to the next level with Cam.

I agree with you whole heartedly. All I hear all the time is college coaches Chip Kelly mostly.

The HC I have in mind has won 3 NFC championships and 1 Superbowl.

As far as i know his name has not come up on this board. (sorry if it has)

Again, who was the last college coach to successfully make the transition, omitting Harbaugh?

If its all just coaching and X's and O's then get Greg Olsen's dad, 9 State titles at a Jersey HS.

Uhh.....wuh?

First of all why are we omitting poo?

Second, Pete Caroll is doing pretty good in Seattle and Tardass with the Bucs who are certainly better than we are....

Times may be changing...

as long as the college coach has a solid NFL experienced staff, i'm cool with it.

guy like sumlin or chip kelly and then have him pick an "OC" with nfl coaching exp. (as a consultant) and a DC with lots of nfl exp preferably that you would make an asst HC and you're gold.

the main thing we need in a HC is game and team management and leadership skills. you don't have to be an NFL guy to be good at it as long as you surround yourself with an experienced NFL staff.

i'd rather go that route than try the OC or DC route (unless that OC or DC has good HC experience).
