Our O-line play has dropped way off from last year. It all starts there. But when Newton does have time to throw, there is not one receiver open down field. SS is one of, if not the greatest Panther ever, but he has lost a step and isn't near what he used to be. Granted Cam needs to feel pressure better, but slow developing patterns that force him to hold the ball aren't helping either, because this line is not good at all. Can't run block, can't pass block, Kalil is the only one whose job should be safe.

Perfect storm of an o-line that can't block, receivers that can't get open, and a QB that makes poor decisions.

Steve is being covered man to man and they are rolling a safety over on his side. Screen players and a triple option would be wise now. The defense over pursues so why ditch that now.

But are the poor decisions the result of quick pressure? Obviously we need more play action and screens, and Chud should be castrated.

Long plays that take too long to develop sure don't help either.
