A WHOLE PIE!

I am defending Cam Newton. Here's why :

No run game
No oLine
Read option scheme
Lack of WR depth
Horrible staff that makes no adjustment
(Chud, Chico)
All the pressure is on him which is not fair in my opinion

Is he perfect? Not at all. Does he have flaws? Yes

But this guy gives us a chance every game with his arm and his legs. Today against Denver he had well over 200 yds and 2 TDs. People are acting like he's thrown 4 INTs today. Trade him?? Hell no. There are way bigger problems in this organization than Cam

Anyone with any football IQ will know that no QB can be successful with no run game no oline and when all of your targets are blanketed

Cam is my guy. Forward with him

As awful as Cam played, it's not all his fault and he didn't give up.

That's all I have to say about that.

You can express criticism without being ignorant, unfortunately a few on this board do not possess that ability.

All of his struggles can be corrected, first we need an offensive coordinator with a functioning brain.

The sad thing is, there are people here who think us getting rid of him is some sort of punishment to him. LOL. They just cant believe that once our owner checks out, this franchise is DONE if there is no draw. Itll be LA here we come. Be careful what you wish for Cam-haters.

I'm willing to stick with cam....but the pick six was just a back breaker....we had momentum and decent field position after a takeaway and he gave it right to them

He should know how bad the o-line is playing and just get rid of the ball.....not every occasion though because the o-line was trash all day

Why people keep saying players quit

Maybe they're not... good enough? Look at our oline

1 1st round pick playing today

Look at our receivers. 0 first round picks

Our running backs? 2 1st round picks, not used like they should be

Phil Simms just did a good job of showing what Cam has been looking at all day. So Cam was well defended by Replays.

I would say it's probably 10-15% Cam's fault. I would say that's a fair percentage for ANY 2nd year QB.

So why did they quit on him.

Manning used far less time to throw per play than Cam had.

We need to figure out passing plays that don't require 3-4 seconds per play.
