Then he would have had about 20 throw aways today. At that point you're just Jimmy Clausen.Throw it away.
I'm Defending Cam....

If Cam forces something and makes a mistake (INT), he's sucking it up.
If our defense did their job and protected our lead instead of instantly giving it away, we might could see our QB play comfortable. Instead he has to play from behind the majority of the game and be the only scoring option we have.

20 times a game? still doesn't solve the problem of us not having an offense.
Still a better choice than taking a sack or throwing a pick.
The other option is to run, but there wasn't any room for that today either.
Sometimes there just aren't any better options.

If Cam doesnt attempt to make plays, he's holding the ball too long

Ya good point our team should pitch shutouts every game.

Your taking a couple of soundbites and trying to act like that was the norm. Phil Simms also said cam was getting good time in the 2nd quarter. He also said at one point on a 3 second drop the cam should get rid of the ball.
No Cam did not single handily cost the game but stop acting like it was not poor Cam's fault.
Did you watch the game? Phil said he had time when the Broncos were playing prevent. Good job by you of not knowing what the fug you are talking about.

CHud abandoned what worked today and then tried deep routes all day long when our O line couldnt block.
no qb will be successful in that scenario, not even a hall of fame one.

Honestly he didn't even have the option to throw it away on several of his sacks today, because Miller was already on him before he could pull his arm back to release.Still a better choice than taking a sack or throwing a pick.

Or do their damn job for 4 quarters. The only place in the world you will hear the Panthers defense is playing well is on this board. Peyton gets 300 yards and wins easily, and dudes still think our guys are "stars".

7 Sacks Scot and at least 4-5 was before you can make a choice of throw away or take a sack. poo Miller and Ayers made our line look like a highschool Oline.

The OL is awful right now. Won't argue that.
My big worry is that this will have the 'David Carr effect' on Newton.
There may come a point where the best thing they can do for him is to sit him.
If they're gonna leave him in, they need to do the same thing Henning did with Delhomme in 2006 and go with a game plan that's primarily quick throws.

We need to get Chud out of here before he gets Cam killed.
