We need to get Chud out of here before he gets Cam killed.

Justified or not, seriously doubt that solves the problem.

The OL personnel right now are pretty bad.

Whoever's in charge likely needs to retool the passing game plan to focus on short drops and quick passes.

Cam needs work, he has the tools, but this coaching staff is hand cuffing and hindering him so badly

Or do their damn job for 4 quarters. The only place in the world you will hear the Panthers defense is playing well is on this board. Peyton gets 300 yards and wins easily, and dudes still think our guys are "stars".

Your posts about the defense are pretty laughable

Be sure to link all the articles praising our defense's performance against Manning tonight and tomorrow. A defense that gets 1, not 2, not 3, but 1 sack against a guy who puts up 300 yards on 70% and has his way all day is sure to get a lot of ink.

Can you really look at how Denver's D played then look at ours and think its the same? Their D actually scored and dominated. Ours just doesnt suck as bad as last year, so yall overhype them.

The OL is awful right now. Won't argue that.

My big worry is that this will have the 'David Carr effect' on Newton.

There may come a point where the best thing they can do for him is to sit him.

If they're gonna leave him in, they need to do the same thing Henning did with Delhomme in 2006 and go with a game plan that's primarily quick throws.

I agree.

You don't help the Oline by doing sideway runs and being in the shotgun 85% of the time. You go in power sets put Cam under center 65% to 70% of the time and run the ball north and south.

Agree he should be under center, but the power running isn't working either. We just don't have the beef to do it.

Man so many of you are so blind. Cam does not have the mental capacity to be a franchise QB, why cant anyone else see that?

If your getting to atleast 3rd and 5 it's better then 3rd and 10. I would rather beat up on a small dline for 3 yards at a time because as the game goes on it gets better.

I am defending Cam Newton. Here's why :

No run game
No oLine
Read option scheme
Lack of WR depth
Horrible staff that makes no adjustment
(Chud, Chico)
All the pressure is on him which is not fair in my opinion

Is he perfect? Not at all. Does he have flaws? Yes

But this guy gives us a chance every game with his arm and his legs. Today against Denver he had well over 200 yds and 2 TDs. People are acting like he's thrown 4 INTs today. Trade him?? Hell no. There are way bigger problems in this organization than Cam

Anyone with any football IQ will know that no QB can be successful with no run game no oline and when all of your targets are blanketed

Cam is my guy. Forward with him

I really thought he was giving us a chance in this game....ahem.
