There has been no different approach to the offense this year. It’s the same offense from last season. And yes they did force him to the left, but what your failing to understand his "Cam" roll to the right and spin back left, is not affective when he is already rolling to his left. Not to mention he has more sacks for huge losses doing that move than he has gain yards.

I agree with you about the blocking, it’s hard to have a good Oline though when you have a rookie RG your starting Center is out for the season and your putting together a make shift line.

But to the point of his reads, that was always my biggest concern in his college films i watched. He never saw the blitz coming and had issues reading the coverage. Now this is not his fault per say. It’s a coach’s job to teach this in college and the pros. The Manning brothers had a leg up on most players with their father. I do not see cam having that much help growing up.

Right now I feel he has lost some confidence and the lack of proper play calling is not helping him at all.

lol :lolu:

Zod is the only one to be honest and he said he hasn't heard anything. Um, why is this thread still open? Requesting lock up of this thread.

Actually what I'm saying is Cam is not allowed to call audibles, therefore making that point an invalid attack on his intelligence.

Don't you think that he would be allowed to call audibles if the coaches felt more confident in his intellingence? Think it through and get back to me.

not sure how i missed it, but this post is just beautiful.

what if...just what if this is the case?

props to you sir.

Very nice of you to say that. I would love to be wrong. However, when I state that Cam never audibles, the huggers dispute my argument by stating, "He is not allowed to!" He is not allowed to call audibles because the people closest to his abilities do not feel confident letting him do it. That alone is a huge statement about his intelligence. ANY coach would LOVE to give that power to their QB.

Please prove me wrong Cam. However, I know that, right now, you are not a smart QB. If anyone knows football and can look at this objectively, it breaks your heart. He is an immature, selfish, unintelligent loner.

When I see him crowd the OL around him on the sideline, when I see the coaches chatting with him after an interception or a big drive, when I see the other players rally to his defense, when coaches give him responsibility....I will know he has come of age. Anyone who defends him as he sits alone with a towel over his head on the bench affer his 11th three and out needs to watch some film on Brady and Peyton.

He audibled the 3rd offensive play this year against Tampa. I'm sure there are more examples; I just happened to see that play last night.

At some point he was obviously told to stop. Your take on that is it's due to his stupidity.

Based on what we've seen this year, Chud may be the one with the intelligence issues.

Chud would look stupid if the QB does not know enough to check out of a play or to call a play that is open. Who knows, but at least we seem to agree that not calling audibles is a sign of a lack of football IQ. I do not know of any reason other than ignorance that the benefit of calling audibles would be removed from an NFL QB.

To say that not calling audibles is due to the ignorance of the offensive coordinator and not the player on the field is probably a symptom of denial.

Then you've watched different games than I have this year. How you could evaluate our play calling and deem that the work of a rational man is beyond me.

ben grubbs said joe flacco wasn't able to audible in 2011 and cam cameron's answer when confronted about it was a bunch of coach speak that didn't answer the question:

young quarterbacks aren't given full control of the offense very often.

Are you comparing your opinion of good play calling to coaches who have QBs that audible? Do you not think that play calling 30 seconds before the snap is much less successful than plays called after the defense reveals itself? Been watching the same games as you--I agree the play calling sucks. However, do you know how often Chud would change the play if he could?
