If Rivera is fired, I'd rather give the team to McDermott than Chud. Actually, I think Chud should be poo-canned before Rivera. But only a couple minutes before.

McDermott has had the defense ready to play this year. They've made gigantic strides in no small part due to the production we're getting out of our D-line.

I'm not defending anyone on this staff, but there is the possibility that the HC is throttling the OC? You just never know what is happening behind closed doors and what has been said to JR by various players and coaches.

Murphy and Dud should both be gone. The only reason I'd keep Rivera is I don't know that I'd trust McDermott by himself with the defense.

Well....what if Rivera influences the offensive game-plan more than we know? I know it sounds crazy, but what if Rivera is in Chud's ear? Surely between Morrison and JR, they KNOW where the issue is. If this turns out to be true....maybe Ron is dumber than we all think?

This would be yet another step in the right direction. Firing Chud would be the next one. I wouldn't be hurt if McDermott got fired too even though the defense is playing better, but that's mostly cause the D-Line has stepped up their game and the combo of Keek/TD. McD hardly get's the lion's share of the credit for their improved play, he's still calling dumb sht prevent coverage against PEYTON FUGING MANNING

Will believe it when I see it. Chud to HC is not exactly the ideal promotion but what do we have to lose if Rivera is fired? It actually might keep him from playcalling. And I would like to see McD to remain in his position. Moving him to HC could slow down the momentum the defense is having right now.
