As bad as the "O" was...no pick 6 and no punt return TD and it is 22-14

I saw Manning moving in the pocket on many occasions in response to Carolina pressure...He 's hard as hell to sack, but you can at least get him out of his comfort zone a little and I thought the Panthers did that pretty well. Actually, Denver was only 3-13 on 3rd down...the defense got off the field quite a bit...

Manning moves in the pocket in anticipation, because he is smart. He's not moving because he HAS to. Cam doesn't even realize there's a whole defensive line coming to sack him. Cam is reactive while Manning is proactive. Denver never needed to do too much on offense after they had the lead and when they did, it was on 1st and 2nd down.

I understand what you mean...

Still thought the defense was pretty good though...

This unit has a lot of potential...

As far as Newton goes, his pocket presence is just really, really poor. He seems gunshy...afraid to pull the trigger if his receiver is not WIDE open...this game needs to be a turning point for him...and maybe it will be...He looked lost today...and I think he knew he was lost...don't know if that was true before...
