Oddly you have to wonder what's next? Now it sems old predictions have come and gone so now its up to random things like say asteroid or soloar flare storms.
But we can't be too much like the townspeople in the boy who cried wolf.

i remember the doomsayer types hyping this one up as far back as 1998/99

if y2k, the may 5th 2000 planet alignment, and nibiru (the retro may 2003 version) didn't get us then the mayan prophecy surely would. this is truly the end of an era when it comes to fear mongering and woo-peddling.

Well, the 72 hour window is now open. Looks like we'll know for sure by Monday if there's anything to this or not...not getting my hopes up though. Was really hoping to experience something profound by now. At the same time, positive changes are still occurring very rapidly and people are still waking up. Time is still going by faster and faster too. I'm with pstall in the sense that we get blind sided. I still think there's no way this couldn't happen.

You know the whole alignment thing happens, literally, every year on December 21st, right?

Yes with the galactic equator, of course. The difference with this years' occurance is this is the first time in 225 million years the alignment has been triple solar...including our sun, Alcyon (the star our sun orbits) and Sirius (Galactic central sun that Alcyon orbits).
