Our ST's unit has been the laughingstock of the NFL for many many years. Where have you been?

Kinda not a scapegoat by definition if you actually suck.

He sucked and should've been gone last year but it was also a scapegoat for Chico. Chico gotta go also.

He used Joe Adams as the "SG" to why we loss vs NYG and now Murphy.

Was Murphy the easy call because less salary the organization has to eat? Plus the Holliday PR makes the choice extra convenient today?

I believe that usually the only coach with a multi-year contract is the head coach.

Murph today.. Chud in two more weeks. We'll hold with that, maybe Rivera by week 14 or 15, letting McDerm run the last week or two of practices before this shitstorm season is over. Maybe Chico rides out until the end of the year, depending on JR and the fans' moods and vitriol.

I just don't see how we continue with him at the helm anymore. He's shown nothing to warrant being retained.

If Ron Rivera announced Murphy's firing, and Hurney is also gone, who's gonna announce Rivera's firing?

if its riveria trying to save his job it will be chud next then mcderm then the boss pulls the trigger and they tell us our new gm and hc the last game of the season to give a sense of hope for the offseason (and stop the bleeding with ticket sales)

Well, for what it's worth, the last time we promoted an assistant ST coach, it actually turned out pretty good.

Unfortunately, said coach (Jeff Rodgers) was on the opposite sideline this past Sunday.
