Ok, so it was 13 year old boy and not a girl (I mis-remembered which child Israel had killed first), but still, it was an Israeli killing that broke the recent ceasefire.

Your comment on "797" rockets was dishonest in regards to the current argument. We were talking about the incidents that led to the failure of the recent ceasefire/ truce, which was, as I correctly stated before, directly related to a slain Palestinian child by IDF forces.

"drivel" apparently includes visual displays of palestinian land loss

hey if my entire political ideology was faith based i probably wouldn't read any counter-arguments either

No doubt that the bulldozing of settlements is wrong. But first they need to stop killing each other and then the other stuff can be discussed.

Yeah man, if only those Native Americans would have just sucked it up while we stole and forcibly marched then off their historically settled land, we could have brokered a deal. If those assholes hadn't been so terrorist-like in their defense of their homes we might not have been forced to kill off about 97% of them.

It wasn't dishonest. You seem to seperate the current events from previous events, and I don't think that can be done. The Israelis were on heightened alert because of the huge numbers of rockets, including the new f5 which gives them the ability to target the largest Israeli population centers.

And there was a girl killed, she was killed later, and I guess that is what you are referring to. But regarding the period since nov 8th, it was the discovery of an explosives cache owned by Hamas within a few feet of the Israeli border that started this most recent series of events, ie breaking the ceasefire.

Well, if you are going to use that scenario, then perhaps the Palestinians might want to avoid following their example given how things worked out. I think that Ghandi would be a far better example for them to follow, because he actually succeeded. Then again, maybe they will someday be able to get everything back by opening casinos in Gaza and the West Bank

But the two situations are not all that similar. Jews and Palestinans in Israel started out with roughly equal amounts of territory, but the Arabs kept launching wars against Israel (48/56/73) or threatening/provoking (67) and kept losing. And by losing, they lost territory (not that the palestinians were treated that well when the Arabs owned the West Bank. The Arabs finally learned their lesson after 73, but I think the Palestinians wish they would launch another war and lose again.

Once again, you're either misunderstanding what you're reading, or your deliberately being dishonest.

Four tanks and a fuging bulldozer encroached upon Palestinian territory during a ceasefire to an undisclosed location only described as "west of the fence" by the IDF, and "beyond Israeli's border fence" by the PRC.

Israel claims that it was because they had discovered "powerful explosives". But the point is that Israel violated Palestinian territory during a cease fire and subsequently fired upon and killed a teenage boy. The Palestinians subsequently retaliated.

Lets be real here, the Israelis could find "explosives" within a "short incursions" distance from the border at literally any point it wanted to.

nothing of value can be found in this post thus, it can be disregarded

Wow, the very definition of the pot calling the kettle black.

I just don't get the left's constant insistence that its all on Israel... They are not innocent by any means, but DD is right, if Israel laid down their arms, they'd all be killed so quickly it'd make your head spin.

And now bombs coming in from Egypt into Israel. Don't expect that will be reported by some here either.
