Give it about 2 to 3 more years. No second year QB can go in boss mode like that. Thats why Manning is who he is. I believe Cam will get to this point in a few years. That kind of leadership only comes with experience.

Nah, sulking on the bench is just as good. Right?

A second year QB sure as hell can do more than hang his head on the bench.

Grab the photo folder. Look at what the defense is doing. Talk to your o-line. Talk to your receivers.Talk to your damn QB coach.

Doing any one of these would be an improvement.

When will our coaching staff nut up and grab his ass off the bench and talk to him?

Cam needs work, no doubt. I'm extremely critical of him at times too, albeit quietly. But stop acting like he should have the mentality of a 15-year vet. Jesus people.

Rivera is a statue, Chud never leaves the booth, who knows where Shula is half the time.

Coaching is more than simply "being there" and collecting a paycheck.

He has it, but it not the same as that kind of vet leadership.

I know what you mean, but I can't see him doing that much longer. He's never been humbled like this in football. I see him getting better at handling his emotions each week. I do agree our coaches need to get him right. He shouldn't have to learn these things by himself. Coaches should have to do more than just call plays and timeouts. Instead of Smitty getting him, it should have been Rivera or Shula. If I'm at home watching the game pissed off, I can't cuss Cam out for feeling the same way.

Cam wont be able to act like that.

Imagine us praising him for cussing Gross and Hangman out for holding or missing a block. He will be portrayed as a "baby" or "malcontent". Our fanbase is not ready for this from Cameron EVER. Cam got at Olsen last year, after a game, and sure enough Olsen was the "victim"

This fan base is more than ready to Cam to start acting like a professional that realizes he has a long way to go and takes every opportunity to learn and get there.

I've been ready since his first game. Damn, I'm just ready to win games now.
