ZackAttack23's 2013 Panthers Mock Draft 2.0

I'm seeing Richardson being ranked as high as top 10 right now. Seem's to be a player on the rise that will end up going in the first.

That's why I say players will go higher or lower than projected right now based on performance or how they are in the combine.

Really? Whys that? I'm sure a couple guys will emerge in time for the combine. Tony Jefferson is another interesting prospect.

He's really stiff in the hips for starters. He has trouble with changing directions which isn't good when you're talking about coverage safeties. He's also been left looking lost in coverage on numerous occasions this season, and doesn't attack the ball as well as you like for a prototype FS. That's not to say he's not a good player. He's light years ahead of what we have at FS now, or what we would get from Godfrey. From what I've seen though, he would make a much better in the box strong safety. He's a great tackler, and loves initiating contact. He has the tools to be a better coverage guy, but he's been a liability in coverage more times this season then an asset.....

Like Joeckel, like Elam but rather a different player there. Need to pick up a WR with a higher pick IMO.

No way Richardson is available in the 4th. He'll be a 1st rounder.

Trust me, my mock will be way different next week. Not much will change at the top though.

Like Joeckel and especially Elam.

Though I rather take Star or Hankins over Joeckel.

Like u said Gross is losing a step but in now way is he done. So I'll rather take a LT when we really need one. There's no need to draft a Joeckel and develop him. LT are easy plug nd play guys. Don't have to do much grooming them. Take a LT next year instead.

For Richardson, I Dno where ur getting ur info from but the kid is clearly a late 1st to 2nd rounder. No way he's hitting 4th

We need O-line help now! But I'd be happy with Star, Hankins, or Sylvester Williams from UNC. I got my info on Richardson from Drafttek.com. Guess they didn't update their draft stuff. Guess I'm looking elsewhere for a draft board next time.

I like this mock. I'm flexible on the second pick...I hope we can find a good safety in FA, and

use this pick for a CB, but if not, I'll take safety in a heartbeat in the second.

We need OLINE help now!!! Ofcourse but that's at RG. Not LT.

Round 1: Luke Joeckel OT Texas A&M 6-6 310 Lbs.

It's obvious we need O-line help. Jordan Gross is still very good, but he is losing a step and at some point needs to be replaced. By selecting Luke with this pick we will be just about set at OL.

Round 2: Matt Elam S Florida 5-10 206 Lbs.

We really need an aggressive safety out on the field. Nakamura ain't cutting it.

Round 4: Sheldon Richardson DT Missouri 6-3 290 Lbs.

We need a young DT to learn behind Dwan and Ron other than Sione and Nate.

Round 5: Terry Hawthorne CB Illinois 6-0 190 Lbs.

Gamble might or might not come back, Munnerlyn is a nickleback. So to draft Hawthorne is a great value.

Round 6: C.J. Fiedorowicz TE Iowa 6-6 265 Lbs.

Nice option to have opposite Olsen. He's only a Junior, but hopefully he comes out.

Round 7: Cobi Hamilton WR Arkansas 6-3 209 Lbs.

WR with nice size and great value in the 7th.

I like this mock but Robert Lester is a natural free safety and would be available in the second round so that is the only change I would make to this mock.
