At least two reported dead

Hopefully, this one gets contained without a major spill.

Jesus, how are they building these rigs? Is there something inherently more dangerous about an offshore rig compared to a land drill?

I wonder if these types of things happen with land based drilling, but it doesn't make national news?

It wasn't a drilling rig, it was a production rig. I know that doesn't really matter, just sayin'. At least it was 28 gallons spilled (reportedly), not 200 million.
