Na man, the 17th ranked defense who held Oregon to 14 points is better than the 13th ranked defense with way more star power.

What's truly a shame is the Playoff system doesn't start yet.
It would be so mch more entertaining if some of this opinion could be settled on the field.

South Carolina relies on speed up front which would be negated by how fast the Ducks get the football out of Mariota's hand. Stanford is like Bama lite. They just man up, and blow you the fug back. They did the exact same thing to USC in week three. All teams have bad games, and tonight was Oregon's turn. But teams that rely on speed on the the ends like USC would be killed by Oregon because they're just faster. You have to be physical and sound in your gap responsibilities to beat the Ducks. It also doesn't hurt to have two of the best tackling line backers in college football....

If USC could upset Notre Dame...not impossible, because Notre Dame is very overrated...

I thought USC could beat ND, but as several people have pointed out Barkley was injured in the game today. If he misses ND wins then you're lookin at Bama & ND in the NC game.

And I've complained countless times about Oregon's schedule. I don't really think you can call them a fraud, they executed with surgical precision offensively against every team they were matched up against until tonight. Their OOC was a joke, but they still embarrassed teams in the Pac till they met a team that could push their line backwards....
