First of all, unless you get a few thousand signatures on this petition nobody in the organization is going to look twice at it.
Second, Jerry Richardson isnt retarded. I'm pretty sure he can tell the team is crap in large part due to the bad coaching. Barring some miracle run at the end of the season Rivera is getting fired with or without this petition.

The point really isn't to get JR to open an email because he doesn't do that anyway. The goal is to put indirect pressure on the Panthers to get rid of the coach. For example all of our negative Rivera threads yesterday could have started the 'fire Rivera" pole on Charlotte.com. We want to keep the Panthers media focused on the fact that the fans want him gone.

RR will be fired but it isnt going to happen till after our season is finished on Decemer 30 th. to think that an interweb petition means jack squat to JR is so foolish.

If you think this petition is going to be the reason Rivera gets fired? You are out of your mind and are only kidding yourself.
Rivera's fate was all but sealed when Hurney was fired, the only way he was going to save his job was if he turned the ship around and fast, he hasn't. And he will be fired at the end of the season because of that.
He won't be fired before then because it will accomplish nothing, believe it or not guys but the only thing firing him before the end of the season would accomplish is make you guys a little less butt hurt about how the season has gone so far.
