I loved it. I couldn't do anything but smiled when he gave it to that kid just to see his reaction. Those small kids are the future adult fans of this team. I wasn't at the stadium but that made my day.

The NFL should make this mandatory for every TD scored. But you can't give it to adults including hot chicks. It will be an amazing memory for a kid for the rest of his life.

i'm sure JR loves it. gets all the milquetoasts in the stadium with their ipads and snot-nosed kids looking for a ball. excellent marketing, excellent draw on the parent demographic.

doesn't do jack poo for the team or for the environment but it'll be good for business.

Very cool move. But it is weird seeing Cam take the ball from another player and give it to the kids. If Jonathan Stewart scores a TD he should give it to the fans.

That's just the tradition. The guy's don't care. He's done it since last season.

If you watch when he gives the ball away, all the kids that ask for the ball are wearing Cam jerseys, they all payed for his jersey, the game, they came to see him score and possibly get the TD ball.

Would it make any sense for Stewart to go give it to one of them?

AMEN! As much as I love Cam, two things I am tired of seeing are his twinkle-toed first down pointing celebrations and him ripping the ball from players to be the "guy" who gives the ball to the fans.
