Carolina Panthers' all-time record in games decided by 7 points or less
In non-playoff seasons: 30-59
In playoff seasons: 22-10
Give or take a game or two, I did this math in my head off Pro Football Reference and I'm not exceptional at math. But good God. 30-59 in non-playoff seasons.
Says a lot, doesn't it? Oh, and most of the wins were from Fox (obviously)

So what you're suggesting is that during playoff runs, we win close games, and during seasons where we don't win a lot of games, we lose close games?

Huh.
That would be what the team's results suggest. Also, if you compare other teams' results it paints a bigger picture of how inept the Panthers are at close games.
