Chud as Interim HC makes perfect sense.

1) Tells the players losing is not acceptable
2) Tells fans that losing is not acceptable and management is willing to do something NOW.
3) Let's the Panthers and the rest of the league see if Chud is really head coach material and it doesn't cost the Panthers squat. This alone should make cheap ass Richardson happy.
4) Prevents the stadium from being empty for at least a couple of the last games until we see if Chud is a dud too.
It just makes sense.
PLEASE DO IT RICHARDSON!!

See if Chud is a dud? Didn't we see that week 1 when his NFL record RB committee had ZERO yards with evidence every week to follow?

Chud is worse than Rivera
Probably is, but last year he was interviewed for several jobs. It can't hurt at this point...Rivera is done.

agreedI'd easily choose McDermott over Chudzinski if it came to that, but it's not going to.

you'd promote a guy that can't even handle the job he already has?It would be interesting to see an offensive coach as HC for a couple weeks. The defensive thing has been done over and over with this team...it's a free look at a guy who was in fact interviewed as a HC....it makes sense to me.

And Chud will never be interviewed again for a HC job. That dream of his is done.
