That would send a terrible message to the players. Chud is the coach responsible for our worst performing unit. Add in the fact that Chud has total control of the offense, unlike most OC's. Everyone knows Rivera gives him autonomy on that side of the ball.

How would you feel if you were a defensive player or coach seeing the guy rewarded after a absolutely horrible performance?

Yes. Rivera has lost the team. We can't hire anyone right now. Chud is fired at the end of this season anyway. Why not give him a shot at this mess of a team? It sends the message that we are gonna fire and fire and fire until something changes. If it doesn't change, so be it, at least JR tried something rather than force the fans to watch Rivera toil through the rest of the season at our expense.

We have been almost successful in every game but 2.

Point is it shouldn't come down to a defensive stop.......they are playing good enough. Issue is the offense is sub par in all these close loses. They are only asked to score 20 and game would be out of reach.

D shouldn't have to hold teams to 14 pts to win
