I think this game does mean something and that something is GOOD for the tarheels. I was listening on the radio and with the younger team out there I was thinking oh man we would lose by 40(being down 29), but the team showed some grit and now knows that it must play tough and hard to succeed. For those peeps who didn't know The heels got it down to 6 with under a minute to play. I'm impressed that they could do that, and as a Heels fan I think they have the talent for the rank they have but they're gonna need some time. Just like State has talent but everyone has to realize that these early polls are all BS untill all teams have seen some real competition.

Pretty much. UNC has a young team. Not to mention they are trying to establish some sort of identity after losing so many players. They'll be much better come March, but I expect a few more of these type games until then.

Here's the thing though...Carolina is expected to have games like this. State isn't. Look, as a State fan you should realize that you only get 1 shot every 30 years or so. So State's loss is by far a much worse loss than UNC's.

On the contrary...you State fans seem to be the ones "butt- hurt". Look, I get it. This is State's one year to actually be relevant on the national scene and your team already took a reaming from an unranked nobody. It happens. Just man up and accept the loss and move on. It really makes you look bad when you try to focus on the losses of other teams while downplaying your own teams losses.

The bottom line is that Carolina is in a rebuilding year, while State has their best shot at an ACC title (as well as a national title) since the 80's. Deflecting the bad play of your team doesn't make them look or play any better.

State has the best team in the ACC, I said as much before the season. You're the one who said this after your team lost by 20 to OK St.
