I balk at the idea he's not a leader. Because I saw him take a avg.to below avg. Auburn team to a undefeated championship season.

Fact only 3 players were drafted off that team and we all know that. Neither Lee Ziemba or Fairly are leaders.

Fact his coach at Auburn is 2 years from being a national champion to unemployed.

Fact the team has fallen apart since he left. The rb was kicked out of school. None of his wr (at Auburn) will make it in the league. They went from Number 1 to unranked after he left.

Point is he took a undisciplined, poorly coach, and undertalented team to a championship. How many of the Qb drafted highly in the last 5 or 10 years can say that?

You and Cam can relive his glory days in college. I am more concerned with his play as the Panthers QB. His record is 8-18 and he folds in the 4th.

QB's can get away with just pure athletic ability in college. But, it requires much more than that. And these are the things that Csm has yet to learn.

But hey....did you see how great he was in college.

Not personal at all. I think Cam will be a great QB...but I believe he still has a lot to work on. Hiwever, The Cam Fanboys who believe his poo does not stink are the ones my comments are directed to.

Their continuous blaming of everyone from the coaches to the OL to the defense to the WR's for his wvery mistake is comical, I am waiting for one if them to blame the water boy because he gave Cam the wrong brand of bottled water.

Cam is not THE ONLY reason for our offensive issues this season...but he is partially to blame. And that is something that a group of posters on here can't accept.

Personally I could care less who is voted captain. I just find it absolutely hilarious to read how his nut huggers club are now blaming others for why he was not selected.

Saying Cam folds in the 4th is pure ignorance. When he left the field against the Bucs we were up by 8. When he left the field against the Bears we were up by 2. Cam performs quite well in the 4th; our D folds.

Honestly these "fan boys" you speak of are very small in numbers. Most fans who support Cam can and have been critical of him in different aspects. I know what his capabilities are and his work ethic. With the right coaches who are stern with him when they need to be and an actual pro offense, I believe he can and will succeed.

I too believe he can and will succeed. I also think he needs a more regimented coach who will get on him about the things he needs to improve on.

My son swims competitively for a team in Charlotte. He selected the team he is on over others because the coach usher militant. He knew that a guy like that (who would get in his face when he slacked off or was not doing the little things to succeed) would be good for him. I think the same kind if coach would be good for Cam.

when the offense left the field against the bucs, they were a first down away from ending the game. instead they left the job undone.

cam spotted the bears 7 points in the fourth. if he hadn't thrown an interception, chicago never would have come back to win.

when the defense is put in a position to try to secure a win, that means the offense is struggling.

there's nothing like ending a game with the offense on the field doing a victory formation kneel down.

This is why us missing out on a guy like Harbaugh was utterly foolish.

Rivera has no passion about him, nor is he a true leader of men. Coordinator at best, which is what we got.

So can he do it all by himself or not cuz its not getting done and all I hear are excuses. You are alluding to a guy who has accomplished everything he has accomplished in spite of his depleted surroundings, poor coaching, and lack of star power running mates. I am hearing lots of excuses pointing to these very things are exactly what is holding him back.

Check the stats there cowboy...they are your friend.

Cam has a 47% completion percentage and a 56 qbr rating in the last two minutes of a half. He folds when the pressure is on.....thus why he is flat unable to lead this team to a 4th quarter comeback.

Its just a way for some of our fans to slight our QB or reaffirm he's not absolute. Beason was a captain as a rookie, why isnt Keek? He's not a leader of men. See, I can do it too.
