Think he's taking a jab at Bwood.

Ah.

I see.

It's still an odd jab, since I do believe that Joeckel is the #1 prospect in the Draft, lol.

I beleive Chucks stance is that elite LT don't win rings.

Well as I look at it Joeckel can't pass the ball and he sure as hell can't make Cassel or Quin play at a high level. Even if there isn't an elite QB (in somes opinion) Chiefs have to reach for a QB.

they could very well wait til the 2nd round to get a QB or more than likely use that pick to move into the back end of the 1st for their QB. if they dont like a QB at the top, i dont see them reaching.

If I was the Chiefs, I think I'd try and get Glennon in the 2nd, if he falls that far. I really believe that Glennon could end up being the 2nd best, if not the best QB in this draft.

It's funny, this year's Draft has a lot of QB talent, but it's not where people think it is. The perception is that Geno Smith, Matt Barkley, and Tyler Wilson are the top QBs when it actually might be Mike Glennon, Zac Dysert, and Aaron Murray as the best QBs.

Yeah, I don't think there's one QB that sets himself apart. I could see them taking one early in the 2nd. But they still would be running a risk of missing out on the one they want.

Tbh, if Joeckel is the pick, with Bell's decent play and youth, I'm thinking Gross maybe will and possibly should be a cap casualty.

Ive said it a few times. If we draft Joeckel we should trade Gross. He's got more trade value than Beason,Gamble or D-Lo.

Gross is the heart and soul of our team. No way we trade him. Joeckel, Silatolu, Kalil, Bell, and Gross would make for a great line.

All Gross is from a "feelings" standpoint is a counter driving force to our new era. He's a good ole boy on a modern team.

He's paid too well to play Guard and certainly not powerful enough to do so. Bell sure a heck hasn't shown anything at Guard.

Dump Gross, free up the cap and buy a capable RG with it

Bell is not and will not be a guard. His playing style fits tackle. He plays too upright and his footwork is more lateral. We'll lose some guys because of our cap situation. Gross and Gamble will be the only ones who will give you relief. We'll take a cap hit if we cut D-Lo or Beason. Why not draft his replacement. Trade him for a 3rd/4th and create some cap space?
