6-10 mediocre

that's what we are staring down..

I can't remember who said it, maybe Zob, but they said "We are just good enough to lose.."

You can see the talent on the field and the ability comes in flashes. The coaching is piss-poor, but we have a team that actually is not the worst in the NFL. We will probably beat the Eagles, Chiefs, San Diego and Oakland rolling to a 6-10 record and just out of the top 5 in the Draft.

Merry Chistmas!!

As long as Rivera catches the first plane out of town and we hire a good GM I don't really care how we finish the season or what draft pick we get.

Why not start playing backups now to get a true reading on their abilities?

I'll believe those wins when I see them. Until that time I think Rivera continues to find ways to lose leads.

Ron is coaching for his career at this point. Playing backups won't help that.

Umm honestly i wouldnt get your hopes up. We are staring down 3-13 right now. With a most possible win in kansas city. But it isnt impossible we go 2-14.

So going 6-10 is a career saver?

Doubt it will. But he has a better chance at 6-10 than 2-14 or 4-12...

    • Anything I do Panthers related by default. My poop is Panthers related.
    • I like MKG, we just have to understand what he is.  And that's a defensive stopper and rebounder.  He can be a solid starter on a championship level team, but it has to be in a situation like Dennis Rodman was in with Chicago.  He has to be surrounded with dynamic scorers that can compensate for his lack of scoring so he can focus on his defense and getting key rebounds.  Otherwise, his best fit is probably coming off the bench. The problem on this team is that we don't have the scoring threats to offset his deficiencies.  Even though Kemba is a good scorer, he's not a guy that can easily put up points in bunches.  He's probably a natural 15-18 point guy, not the 25-30 point guy MKG needs.
