1 was the best hands down.

Not only for big LAN parties.
Or the incredible storyline.

It was stuff like this as well.

I played them all religiously, hours on end.

Halo 3 was by far the best IMO, but to be honest they were all pretty good. You have to remember some things that were created were ground breaking, and others were just improved upon. Overall 3 had it all.

Callof Duty 2 was easily the best of the series, followed closley by world at war (5) because of the introduction of zombies and awesome MP maps.

Halo CE Campaign & Halo 2 Multiplayer with CE closely behind. I was fortunate enough to experience both while also playing competitively. It was my golden years of true Nerdvana and I regret nothing. You should have seen the look on my football coaches face when I asked him if I could skip practice and a game to go to New York for an MLG. Classic.

Also in 2006 I finished top 32 in the FFA at the Meadowlands out of over 1,000 people for Halo 2. As well as winning over a dozen Connecticut tournaments including $2,000 in cash prizes and an Alienware laptop. Did I mention I was only 14-15 at the time and was sponsored for 3 MLG's.?

hey did you ever play that kid who was supposedly the youngest player on the MLG pro circuit, his Gamertag was Turtle something or another, I forget now what it was exactly.

I ran across him in Halo 2 doubles play once, at the time I thought I was pretty good at Halo 2 after that game I gave up competitive play, the dude destroyed me and my friend single handedly 50-2 or something like that and he was I think like 10 at the time.

I've always thought the maps were best in Halo 2 but the game play of 3 was the best

Dude...

Nice vid but you got to go to the original.

And CE was the best of the bunch for the campaign. Bungie reset the bar for FPSs with it.

that's kind of what I'm thinking. I may just pick them up any time I see copies cheap. Like I saw 3:ODST at target for I think $30. Not too bad for a game I've never played, and am pretty sure I'd enjoy. Might have even been 20.

I really enjoyed Halo Wars, the Halo RTS game. As far as the FPS Halo goes, probably Halo 2.

maybe, like I said in my last one, don't really remember what his gamer tag was anymore(is more then a few years ago after all) but I remember reading about him in a issue of EGM talking about him being the youngest player in MLG and then like 2 months later I saw his Gamertag on the other team and recognized it, and got my ass kicked from there
