I think not only does the NFCS feature the leagues top QBs, but they also feature amazing TE's.
You have Jimmy Graham, Dallas Clark, and Antonio Gonzales. (Yes 2 are getting up in their age, but still in their prime).

Greg Olsen is a very good player, and has been useful. However this season he has at times, been under utilized. Do you think he could be a top 5 TE with a new coaching staff?

I am confident that he will be a building block in the new system.

I'm afraid ATL will draft Eifret this year. He should be a mid to late 1st rounder. Dude is going to be a beast!

Who is this Antonio Gonzalez you speak of?

Greg Olsen needs the Panthers to fix the line and add a dual threat TE.

Olsen can hang with those TE's, not quite Jimmy Graham, but he's more than capable of making a splash (if only he was utilized more).

Greg Olsen should be an absolute monster in the offense we already have. Bad coaching strikes again, smh.

Olsen plays soft at times, and has the dropsies. He can be elite, and be mentioned with those guys but he's got alot of work to do.

Greg Olsen didnt even lead the TEs in targets last season. He will be better with another guy and just lacks that something that should get him over the top.

He seems to be unable to make many run after catch plays that even Shockey could.

He's a good TE1, not going to be elite in any way. Good catching TE, not as great run blocking (although this season he has stepped it up in that department). He probably could take another step if we brought in someone like Eifert as the main TE, and let Olsen work off secondary coverage guys.

Olsen is an absolute joke at run blocking, and imo one of the major reasons behind our issues there. When he's blocking during a run play, his defender usually makes the play in the backfield.

But... I think he's a really good receiving TE and Cam should target him more in the RZ. But, I also think Smith should be moved to the slot or subbed in the RZ. He can't go up and get those fade corner routes like he used to. Gettis, Murphy and Lafell are much better targets at the #1/#2 WR position in those instances.

This is my feeling. Last season I was hyped about him but he didn't seem to have the fight or toughness I expected from him. Its one of the main reasons why I wish we would have kept Shockey because their skill sets were different but the perfect balance for a two tight end set

I hope we move up somehow with a late first or snag Eifert with a 2nd early on

I'd take Ertz from Stanford also. Seams to be a chippy kind of player.
