Pierria Henry once again is the truth.

huge defense, huge offensive play, huge defense again, hits his free throws in crunch time.

Only a sophomore.

The refs were horrible, Charlotte should've won by double digits.

I would happen to agree. There were spurts in the game (when the crowd was really into it for davidson) that they really leaned toward the home team.

Touch fouls called inside on one side of the court but not on the other.

Davidson set moving screens (and holding while they were doing it) all game to try to get their shooters free.

And the aforementioned elbow incidences that happened very close together that weren't called uniformly.

All in all though, davidson played well. The niners were lucky to get out with a win.

Refs terrible. Had a great time at the game. Davidson is much better than their record indicates.

our young guys are legit. I look forward to the next three years. These guys could be special.

9-0 , time for the first real test of the season. I dont expect a win, but if they can be competitive Ill feel like they can finish top four in the A-10

Pierria Henry was ejected in the middle of the second half. Not sure exactly what happened but he could be in danger of being suspended for the next game against Miami.

Just listened to coach Major's post game.

Said that Henry said something to a ref after the ref jumped on him and a CMU player on the ground. Major said Henry will play against miami because it wasnt a fight.

Miami will be a tough team. They dropped one against Florida Gulf Coast earlier in the season, but they were missing on of their better players in that game. If we beat Miami, it's not out of the realm of possibility that we finish OOC play undefeated. Before the season started I had FSU penciled in as a likely loss, but they've been pretty bad recently. It's a very winnable game.

He was ejected for curing at the ref. From what I read he was in a tussle for the ball the ref was on his back trying to seperate him, Pierria didn't realize it was the ref and cursed at him. He won't be suspended for the miami game because it wasn't a fight.
