great game by cam. made his reads, got the ball out quick, overcame some early frustration over some missed throws and led his team down the field repeatedly.

4th quarter comeback for a victory, even. suck it haters.

Oh snap! I completely forgot that was a 4th quarter comeback.

On MNF no less. B)

I still wish he'd work on his accuracy, he missed several throws that he shouldn't have.

Cam definitely deserves the game ball for this one. Great poise, nice decisions, etc.

Only ones i saw him blatantly miss were the two to lafell down the middle where he threw off his backfoot and I think lafell sorta stopped his route on one of them too (not too sure though) and like one or two third down passes to smith as well I think but overall he's been playing extremely well since the second half of the Tampa game, just needs to be more consistent, and I think with better coaching and play calling he will be... and when he has time in the pocket and he eats up defenses(for the most part), but that's a rarity until we fix the oline, overall though he definitely deserves it tonight! Also cam needs to chuck it deep downfield much more as he is dead on accurate almost every time!(look at the murphy pass) But he has barely done it this season which is mind boggling,

I'd agree since he didn't score all 49 points.

So patriots fans shouldn't be happy with Brady's performance against the jets is what you are saying. I swear, we have some mighty high expectations all of a sudden. During the delhomme glory days had he completed 64% of his passes and been responsible for 4 TDs, with the absence of a running game, most of us would be doing backflips to praise him.

when Cam can figure out a way to win games on a consistant basis I will give him his due - I bet none of you cam boys could unclench your butt holes till murphy caught that last high pass with barely more than a minute left to play..

When your 4th quarter defense is as shitty as ours has been, yes. And I'm sure it would have made pathetic cam haters put the loss on his shoulders, despite him having what any objective fans would consider a good game.

Completion percentage certainly would look better for qbs who are known for checking down more. Look at yards per attempt, and get back to me on where he ranks there compared to those guys.

thought he had a pretty good game. he had three really bad throws i thought though (i think two were to lafell right before the half... and there was another that was play action and he threw into double coverage and it was almost picked).

but yeah, made some plays with his feet (think he had two 10+ yard scrambles?). i loved that one play where he was running around in the backfield avoiding the rush. i mean, it was a one yard gain but it was pretty ridiculous how someone so big can be so evasive. like cam of old! and of course the two TDs were awesome.

still think he was held back by playcalling a bit. there were two or three sequences where we had 5+ plays in a row from the gun. awful. i think he did just about half of his attempts from under center though and only one or two were incomplete iirc.

i feel like alternatively we could give the gameball to bryce brown for fumbling the game away and humbling our defense. can't believe how bad the run D was after pretty much locking down everyone for the past several weeks.

Very accurate post.

Cam played very well and stepped up to make plays with the team really needed him. This game should really help his confidence. Now, we need to follow it up with another win to build on that confidence (for the whole team).

However, he did miss quite a few wide open WR's. One series in particular come to mind. But, Cam is developing and will only get better.

And.....put his ass under center with a FB leading the RB. A little power running will really open up the play actions.....where Cam is at his best.

I think that this is the most important aspect of Cam's game tonight. You could clearly see his frustration in the middle of the game. But, unlike many games in the past, he brushed that off and delivered with a 4th qtr comeback......WELL DONE YOUNG MAN.

It may seem small, but games and situations like this are CRITICAL for the mental development of a young QB. Otherwise, the "oh no what is going to go wrong now" will continue to creep into their heads late in close games.......this is actually more important than the other passing and rushing stats.

How surprising KT tooting Cams horn again....

Game ball does go to Cam though, its not however necessary to blow him... we played a clearly inferior opponent and it showed.
