we beat who we were scheduled to play.
They have a stud from the seventh round.
Exactly.
Just because he was drafted in the 7th round does not make Brown a scrub.
Remember that Arian Foster was fuging undrafted.
The ignorance (probably more like immaturity) on this board is amazing....not aimed at you claw.
Seems like the avg age of all of the new posters on this board is about 12 yo.....and they have the mental age of less than this.
Actually, this was a damn good win for the Panthers.......Winning a close game by executing late in the 4th will really help the psyche of this team. They have been so close on so many occassions (only to have something go wrong) that it gets into your head. You have to know that you can close out a game.
We had a lead......lost the lead in the 4th. But, this team then mounted a long scoring drive (and actually scored a TD). Then, they made the play to close it out. Solid win.
But......I swear this team cannot put together a complete game. Defense plays great and the offense struggles. Offense plays well and the defense struggles. The only consistency on this team is that the ST really, really, really suck.
ST Coach Sucks
ST Scheme Sucks
Punter Sucks
And, Gano should be left in Philly. A PAT....a fuging PAT. Inexcusable.
And the best part of this win is.................
Yo JR.....suck it!!!!!!!!!

And god I hate that team..ever since that Championship game years ago after which I read in the News/Observer that some Philly dike was pissed that they were losing, and decided to make up some lie about the Panthers fans around her assaulted her, causing them to get thrown in the stadium jail.
I dont care how bad they are, or how bad we are...we beat the fuggin Eagles and for me personally that is almost as good as the Superbowl itself.
Fug the Eagles! Spit on that team and their fat, dirty fanbase! I dislike them more than the Falcons or Saints***

ugh.
the panthers got the job done...finally. they beat a team they should have beaten. it wasn't pretty, but it's a win. that's what everyone is happy about.
i wish fans that didn't like the team would just do the logical and rational thing and go find a team that more meets their "standards". i can't for the life of me understand why someone would ever go through the hassle of being a fan of a team that they hated. it's not like you have to be a fan or anything. no one's making you. you aren't contractually obligated. just find another team that you won't have to bitch about.

no kidding. Our ST personnel is atrocious. They can't block, tackle, or kick

it was ugly and i think we actually played better in some of the losses, but they finished and that is the thing i am most happy about. that was the threshold they crossed. they kept on until the end and didn't give up or get soft(er). they did their job to the end.Its better than losing but yea it was not a game where that leaves you thinking we have crossed the threshold.
it doesn't matter who it was that they were playing because in all but two games this year and a couple games last year it never really mattered who they were playing because they took the lead showed that they were at least capable of winning, even if they didn't. they were taking the lead into the 3rd or 4th quarter and a few times into the last few minutes.
we know (at least most of us know) that this team is talented enough to win most games they've played because they've had the lead late in most games. they just haven't figured out how to close.
all teams have ugly wins. all teams play horribly from time to time. look at the giants for the past few weeks before they tore up the packers last sunday...they were playing badly. this week they remembered how to win. the panthers are just learning how to do it and any time they can do it i feel like they are closer to being able to do that consistently.
once this team figures out how to win games, i don't think they're going to stop. hopefully the next coaching staff will be able to help them figure it out.
