You assume we will be a running team?

We need coach and GM statement is already a long way to go, not to mention changing the attitude and getting an identity here. We do not have a philosophy or identity. Those things do not come because you beat a hapless team with half rookies playing.

Won't come this year.....rebuilding in the NFL happens quick if done right. We are poorly coached and have our talent invested upside down.....and still have almost won every game under a mindless Rivera.

Team can be winners quick. Just finding the right coach is all. Right coach/GM will make some obvious roster moves as well

Defining... No

Huge step in the right direction... Yes.

Pretty much.

IMO, a defining moment is when things are SNAFU & that player steps up & says "fug that poo!* Not this time!" & wills the team to victory.

(* Those exact words.... fug & poo... Gotta respect the kids...)

Not a defining moment.

He needs to do it against a team with a winning record during a season that means something.

Maybe next year.

Nope...we played a team that had no fight left. If Cam had that performance against the Giants earlier in the year? Maybe. Now. Not so much.

I felt like it was his most complete NFL game as a pro. We owe the Eagles for nearly winning.... Cam simply wasnt going to be denied last night and they continued to make him come back and overcome to triumph.

It was a big hurdle but not quite defining.

I really like what I've seen from Cam lately. Case in point, his congratulating each member of the o-line after our last scoring drive.

I also agree with others that he has been too deferential to some of our vets. It's time for it to become his team, at least on offense. Luke and TD can handle the D.

I think we are seriously underestimating how much of a mess the Eagles are

Don't confuse non embarrassing with defining.

For once the Panthers didn't embarrass themselves on national TV.(although we did make a star out of another nobody)

People who were there would tell you Delhomme's comments in that first game were very...unfiltered

I do as well. I also wonder if Byron Bell is the future at the LT position, thus allowing us to not spend a high draft pick on a franchise LT. RT prospects are much easier to find later in drafts, and beleive we could have road graders at both OT positions. Byron Bell's pass block ability has improved drastically in the past year.. and he is most assuredly more athletic than Gross.
