If he's missing media deadlines and holding up the team bus routinely, then it just furthers my perception that this staff has done a terrible job of managing and developing him. You don't put up with that poo. You nip it in the bud early.

He isn't missing media deadlines...

Newspapers tell reporters they want X by a certain time. Reporters are bitching about the time crunch they are under after a MNF game with their bosses.

Someone should tell them newspapers are a dying format.

i dont care if he is a diva as long as he plays to back it up

i have yet to see him play to back it up in any single game this season

last season, he backed it up almost every week and then some

he looked pretty good. it may have confused most of us into thinking he looked great simply because he has loked so mediocre at best all season

last night he seemed much more confident and that is a start

Though Werder could be in line for punishment for taking a public shot at a coworker, he has a right to be upset. Reilly isn’t an NFL reporter. Though we’re not quite sure what Reilly’s role is, he’s definitely not an NFL reporter. And with an army of NFL reporters marching on the same turf and chasing the same scoops, the last thing any of them want is to have to worry about a non-NFL reporter encroaching on their crowded turf.
Werder possibly wasn’t the only ESPN personality upset with Reilly’s antics. Many have suggested that Steve Young’s demeanor indicates he was pissed at Reilly for making a big deal out of getting credit for an injury that was reported, well, everywhere. There’s a chance, however, that Young turned toward Reilly while listening to a producer telling Young and Reilly something like “you know, they could hear you at home.” Young’s tap to the forearm of Reilly could have been Young’s way of acknowledging to Reilly that the tail end of their discussion had gone out over the ESPN airwaves.

Reilly just sounds like a total bitch.

On the Colin Cowpoo show, Rick Reilly talked about Cam for a minute:

-said Cam took exactly 54 minutes to meet with the media after coach Rivera. Went on to explain that the media writers have deadlines and Cam should know that and should hurry up out of the shower. Said Peyton and AR don't do stuff like that. Also said that the team had to wait on the bus for Cam to leave.

-said Cam feels entitled, is a diva

-Colin asked if Cam can be great, Reilly said he has to grow up and stop being a diva first

-Colin said he has a source that he trusts that told him other players in the locker room feel Cam is a diva



Reilly came off sounding like an entitled brat sports writer. Complaining about fugging deadlines.

Cam is not perfect...yet. He needs to develop into a better leader and locker room presence. I firmly believe that will come with time.

First of why the fug are you watching the The Herd?That show is even worse than FirstTake all Cowherd does is bash fans on his own radio show,the 1 time I watched it I couldn't help but to throw my remote at the tv,he is so damn annoying.

My advice to you is never watch that show again.

lol thanks for the advice. I usually stay away from Cowpoo but I did turn on espn radio for a second and I caught this segment.

I'd never watch his garbage on TV. Honey Booboo has more insight.

My coworkers neighbor is Jordan Gross's doctor..Supposedly Gross told the Dr. that Cam doesn't speak to anyone but a select few..that he's the ultimate diva

Don't know how accurate that is..but if it's true it makes me sad..it's one thing to be a diva to the media..but to your own team? inexcusable IMHO

Yep. Brady is a diva. Big Ben seems like it too.

Not saying its a terrible thing, just saying he has that rep in the locker room.

I can only say I have heard the same thing from a player. Good bad or indifferent is up to each individual.
