Verifies his lack of leadership as a coach. He doesn't even know who the give the game ball to. On numerous occassions he has said that the offense needs to make plays to not put the defense in bad position. How about the offense for excuting the 4 minute offense.

Defense was bipolar. Definitely worse than than it was good but we did have that 4th and less than 1 stop.

The D also forced how many turnovers? I'd say that sure balances the scale a little bit.. If we could exploit those TO's for points the two scores wouldn't have even been close.

It's not like those were just senseless dropped balls; those were stripped balls, big-time plays made by our defensive players.

The D has been the more consistent of phases throughout our games and that's from coaching. They are playing more aggressive than I've seen in a long time. I don't see the big deal with giving him the game ball. He's the only coach making things happen consistently.

this might not mean sh*t to most of you but............it was a classy move.

and a good move for the locker room.

I'm sure the players wanted to win that game for McD.

After reading the blog, I understand why he did it. McD is from Philly and that is his old team and Rivera knew it would mean a lot for him to receive the game ball. Seriously though, I am beginning to think Rivera took a few too many shots in the head while playing linebacker.
